last updated on 2/12/2010The Monstor Mayhem tour released the names of the trucks coming to Spud Speedway on July 9th & 10th Maine's own Crushstation will return bringing more of his friends with him. Eradicator, Backdraft, Screamin Demon, War Eagle, and Razin Kane are sure to please everyone from young to old as they compete in a wheelie contest, head to head racing, & a free style competition. Also that night we are looking for all the local guys to bring out your tuff trucks to compete in the Tuff Truck competition. More events are sure to be added so be sure to keep watching our site. Bangor Motorsports & Maine Distributors Sponsorlast updated on 2/9/2010Bangor Motorsports and Maine Distributors have sponsored a weekend event at Spud Speedway for 2010. Bangor Motorsports has sponsored the opening day event on Mermorial Day when the Pro All Star Series Sportsman cars make their stop at Spud Speedway. This will be a points race for them and they will race against our Coca-Cola Super Streets division. Maine Distributors weekend is yet to be determined and will be announced soon. The support of sponsors like this enhance the racing a Spud's and make it poosible for all to have a great place to race. Be sure to support all of our sponsors as they make it all possible. This partnership will certainly be a good one as racers can purchase parts at one of their three locations in Caribou, Presque Isle, and Houlton. Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Presque Isle has joined up with Spud Speedway to sponsor the Coca Cola Super Street Division. This division is showing tremendous growth this year with an addition of almost 10 new cars already. The excitment of this division is sure to be a crowd pleaser as defending champion Milo Haney and all of the new comers open the season on Mermorial Day weekend, in a showdown against the Pro All Star Series Sportsman division. Tony Phillips, manager for Coca Cola, shared in the excitment of Spud Speedway by commenting on how Coca Cola was looking forward in watching the track grow this year with all of the new additions and shows. He was excited about how Spud finished last years season and looked forard to an ongoing partnership with the track. Thanks to great sponsors like Coca Cola and Quigley's Building Supply the track is sure to continue to grow for fans and racers alike. 2009 Championship Banquet a Huge Successlast updated on 1/26/2010Thank you to everyone who made the awards banquet such a huge success. We had over 120 people there to celebrate the accomplishments of many great driver's and teams. Thanks to the Caribou Motor Inn for such a great meal and a special thanks goes out to the Nadeau Family Band for entertaining us after the awards. If the excitment at the banquet means anything, we are sure to have a really great 2010 season. With the support of so many great race teams, speedway staff, and fans Spud Speedway has only one direction to go, up. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing everyone at the races.
